Overheal
A bonus if restored past full Health.

Overheal is a mechanic introduced in Festival of Legends and the Year of the Wolf Core set. Overheal is a triggered effect that activates whenever a minion is healed past its maximum health. Cards with this mechanic are limited to the priest class.

Notes[edit | edit source]

  • Overheal is a continuous triggered effect, indicated by the "lightning bolt" icon on the bottom of the Overheal minion. It triggers every time the minion is restored past max health.
  • A minion does not need to be damaged for an Overheal effect to trigger. It can even be at full health.[1]
  • Overheal looks at a card's current maximum health. If a card's max health is increased, e.g. from 3 to 5, it needs to be healed past 5 health for the Overheal to trigger.
    • Overheal itself does not increase a minion's maximum health when it is healed. It simply checks whether a healing effect heals for more than a minion's max health.[2]
