Vendellin Soulfire is the fourth boss in Rogue's Book of Heroes adventure.

- The player always gets Backstab, Battle Hawkstrider, Preparation on mulligan.
- These cards can be replaced with Nitroboost Poison, Thistle Dagger, Spymistress. The replacement takes place from left to right (i.e., if the player replaced one card, he will receive Nitroboost Poison regardless of whether Backstab or Preparation was replaced).

- Possession is disabled so that the boss does not waste mana, and is enabled if the player has a non-legendary minion on the board.
- The player always draws the cards on first eleven turns in the next order:
- Turn 2 - Worgen Infiltrator
- Turn 3 - Hooked Scimitar
- Turn 4 - Vulpera Toxinblade
- Turn 5 - Swindle
- Turn 6 - SI:7 Agent
- Turn 7 - Shifting Mana Wyrm

- If the player draws another card per turn, the next card in the list will be drawn. Further cards drawn on this turn will be random.

- ▶️When our group reunited, Broll and I pledged to accompany the king back to his home. But we were quickly intercepted.
- ▶️Whoever was after Varian was not content to send just one assassin, and the next would scar me deeply...

This section uses content from the Warcraft Wiki.- Vendellin Soulfire was a powerful blood elf warlock paid by Katrana Prestor to find and kill King
Varian Wrynn. He flew with his dragonhawk mount to the Wetlands and found Varian, accompanied by Broll Bearmantle, 
Valeera Sanguinar, and Thargas Anvilmar. He cast the Mark of Kathra'natir, a powerful corrupting curse, upon Valeera, then summoned a huge Doomguard to fight Broll and Thargas while he battled Varian himself. Eventually, his doomguard was torn apart by Broll's roots and Vendellin was beheaded by Varian. Valeera's curse would worsen over time, with fel runes growing on her body.
