- The player always gets
Lightning Bloom, 
Rockbiter Weapon, Weakened Elemental on mulligan.
- These cards can be replaced with Landslide, Marshspawn, Torrent. The replacement takes place from left to right (i.e., if the player replaced one card, they will receive Landslide regardless of whether Lightning Bloom or Weakened Elemental was replaced).

- Turn 2 - Chain Lightning (Rank 1)
- Turn 3 - Toad of the Wilds
- Turn 4 - Stormstrike
- Turn 5 - Hot Spring Guardian
- Turn 6 - Lightning Bolt
- Turn 7 - Forgotten Clan Shaman
- Turn 8 - Vitality Totem
- If the player draws another card per turn, the next card in the list will be drawn. Further cards drawn on this turn will be random.
- If the player has drawn more than one card per turn, a random one will be drawn on the next turn.

- The player has to survive in 8 opponent's turns to win this encounter.

This section uses content from the Warcraft Wiki.- Gul'dan was born crippled, weak and deformed in a village in Gorgrond. His condition made him a target for constant mockery and abuse, for which he hated his clan. When the others finally tried to beat him to death to be rid of him, the clan's shaman stopped them and told Gul'dan that he saw greatness in him, advising him to go to the Throne of the Elements to seek his destiny. Gul'dan angrily rejected the shaman, and the chieftain banished Gul'dan from the village.
