  • When Splendiferous Whizbang is added to a player's deck in the collection manager, he replaces the hero for that deck in the deck screen, removes all other cards from the deck, and renames it to "Whizbang is Splendiferous". When the player starts a game, their deck will be one of the 11 special decks or a copy of the opponent's deck, chosen at random.
  • Whatever card back you use for your Whizbang deck will be used for the deck he gives you. If your Whizbang card is golden, you'll play with a golden hero and an all-golden deck. If your Whizbang card is not golden, your deck will contain no golden cards, no matter what golden cards may be in your collection.
  • The deck you're given will not actually contain Whizbang, so you won't be able to play him. His stats only matter if the card is somehow created after a game starts through a random generation effect, in which case he is an ordinary 4/5 minion with no special effect.
  • You'll earn experience for whichever class you played as. Wins achieved in Ranked play count towards the total number of wins for that class (for earning golden heroes).
  • The "Deck" cards displayed above with each deck are simply shown at the start of the game to indicate to both players that Splendiferous Whizbang is being played and that the deck in question was rolled. They have no effect on gameplay.
  • Shaman's deck has a special card,  Quest Accepted!, which starts in the player's hand and casts  Unite the Murlocs,  Corrupt the Waters, and  Command the Elements when played.
    • This card ignores the regular rule of only one Quest being able to be active at a time.
  • Demon Hunter's deck contains 3 copies of a special card,  Wish, which works like  Zephrys the Great. For notes on its function, see Zephrys' page.
  • Some decks contain cards that are not in Standard. These cards will still follow the rules of game formats for geneation effects.
    • For example,  Primordial Explorer in paladin's deck will only Discover Standard dragons if the played in a Standard game.
    • However, cards with specific pools, such as Lackeys from  Sinister Deal, can generate the specified cards in any format.
  • Some decks contain cards from different classes other than the player's hero. The player is still considered to be the class that their hero is.
  •  Copycat Deck was shown when Splendiferous Whizbang was revealed as one of the possible decks. However, due to developers finding many edge-cases where it didn't work properly, it was scrapped before release and the deck will likely not be seen in-game.[1]
