Wild format
Since the arrival of the Year of the Pegasus, Path of Arthas is a Wild format card set, which means cards from Path of Arthas are no longer be playable in Standard format matches. For more information, see Game format.

Path of Arthas is a special card set, released and available for collecting on December 6, 2022, when March of the Lich King also launched. This set is made exclusively of death knight cards, allowing them to catch up to the other classes in Standard format at the time of their release.

How to get

There are various ways to obtain Path of Arthas cards:

• Individual cards in the Path of Arthas set can be obtained by crafting them for regular arcane dust costs.
• The entire Path of Arthas set can be obtained by pre-purchasing March of the Lich King's mega bundle while it is available.
• The set is also available as a stand-alone purchase for 2000 Gold or 1500 Runestones for the regular version, and $69.99 or 7000 Runestones for the golden version.
• Path of Arthas cards can't be opened from card packs.

The Path of Arthas set contains 26 collectible cards, all of which belong to the death knight class.

Path of Arthas cards can be recognized with special watermark (upper half of Frostmourne) not found on other cards.
