Masquerade Ball

Masquerade Ball is a Hearthstone event lasting from September 29th to October 21st, 2020.[1] Based on previous years' Hallow's End events, Masquerade Ball features the new chapter of Book of Heroes for Hunter, new Tavern Brawls, legendary quests rewarding gold, card packs and permanently introduced Elementals and other additions to the Battlegrounds.

Masquerade Ball shares the following features with the regular Hallow's End event:
- Heroes use alternate Hallow's End Greetings emotes (see individual hero pages for listings)
- Dual-class arena is available.
Elementals, welcome to the Brawl![edit | edit source]
On September 29th, 16 new minions including the new Elemental tribe were introduced to Battlegrounds. Alongside them, three new heroes 
Chenvaala, Rakanishu, and Al'Akir as well as the reworked Ragnaros the Firelord were added.
Hearthstone Book of Heroes: Rexxar[edit | edit source]
On October 13th, the new chapter of Book of Heroes will be available, telling the story of Hunter 
Rexxar. Players that defeat the 
Leoroxx will earn 2 copies of Golden Transfer Student.
Tavern Brawls[edit | edit source]
Rise of the Zombeasts, Week 1 (September 30th - October 6th)[edit | edit source]

A tavern brawl where players uses random decks composed of random-made Zombeasts and Hunter spells. Players starts the game as 
Deathstalker Rexxar with 20 health and Build-A-Beast Hero Power cost reduced to 0 mana.
Masquerade Ball Tavern Brawl, Week 2 (October 6th - 13th)[edit | edit source]

At the Scholomance Academy Masquerade Ball, everyone must don a costume! When you play a minion in this Tavern Brawl, it transforms into a minion that costs (2) more. When that minion dies, the original minion is revealed and re-joins the fight!
Boss Battle Royale 3 (October 13th - 20th)[edit | edit source]

A tavern brawl where players plays as Solo Adventures boss with their decks and hero Powers.
Legendary quests[edit | edit source]
Masquerade Ball featured several legendary quests that rewarded either a card pack from one of the current Standard card sets, or a significant amount of gold. A new quest was unlocked once a week for the duration of the event.
