With the start of the Year of the Phoenix, The Witchwood and all synergy cards have rotated to wild, making Hand Druid a wild-exclusive archetype. For more information, see Game format. |
Hand Druid is a Druid deck type introduced in The Witchwood expansion, which introduced Druid cards which synergize with a large hand size. Hand Druid shares similarities with Handlock, but with more focus on card generation than card draw and using a midrange style play. Unlike Token Druid, its early turns consists of playing an early Mountain Giant and a powered up
Twilight Drake or
Bewitched Guardian, then closes out the game with consistent value generation followed by AoE buffs for burst damage.
