Forlorn Lovers are original to Hearthstone. The girl appears to be a young lover who had what seems a deep love for a man. After they died, it seems like she couldn't stand the fact they would no longer be together, causing her to roam Azeroth with the inability to let go and move on. Her sorrow and grief has now been used for destruction under Hagatha.
