- This spell has two steps:
- First it deals damage, queuing and resolving all on-damage triggers;
- Then, if its condition is satisfied, it draws a card, queuing and resolving triggers.
- Example: If you have no other cards in hand when you cast Quick Shot on your own Acolyte of Pain, the minion will draw you a card before Quick Shot checks its condition, and thus Quick Shot will not draw you a card since your hand was not empty anymore when it checked it.[1]
Trivia
- The artwork for this card comes from the World of Warcraft Trading Card Game "Drums of War" series, for the card Boum Headshot.
- This card's flavor text refers to the fan controversy surrounding a famous Star Wars scene in which Han Solo shoots and kills the bounty hunter Greedo. In the original version of the scene, it appears that Han surprises Greedo and shoots him in cold blood, with Greedo unable to get off a shot; while later versions have altered the scene to show Greedo firing first, and Han firing in self-defence. The phrase "Han shot first" refers to assertions by fans that the original scene depicted the true version of events; despite claims by director George Lucas that it had always been intended that Greedo shot first, and simply missed Han. For some fans, Han's cold blooded murder of Greedo served to illustrate his hardened character, making his transition from anti-hero to hero more meaningful, and the later changes to the scene were seen to weaken this side of the character's development.
