  • Despite not using the wording "another random spell", this cannot cast itself.
  • This card is excluded from all random generation effects.[1]

Trivia

  • The Galactic Projection Orb is the same orb as seen in the artwork of  Luna's Pocket Galaxy.
  • The flavor text of this card was likely a hint for The Great Dark Beyond, playing around with the wording of "expansion" meaning something that is expanding, as well as Hearthstone expansions.

    • Fixed a bug where The Galactic Projection Orb could pick itself for the 10-mana spell, but then be blocked from resolving it, resulting in no 10-mana spell going off.
  • TOY Logo.pngPatch 29.0.0.195635 (2024-03-11):
    • 2024-03-21: Fixed a bug where Galactic Projection Orb could continue targeting minions after they were functionally dead.
    • 2024-03-21: Fixed a bug where Galactic Projection Orb would fail to cast if you played it twice in a row.
