Lore[edit | edit source]
Much like how Hearthstone's version of the 
Magma Rager depicts a bound fire elemental, the Ice Rager appears to be a type of bound water elemental. However, Ice Ragers specifically are original to Hearthstone.
Trivia[edit | edit source]
- The second Rager to be added to the game, Ice Rager is a strictly better version of Magma Rager, as it has one more Health. However, it is also far less easily obtained: as a Basic card every player automatically has Magma Rager in their collection, whereas Ice Rager must be opened from a pack or crafted. As a result, it represents an earned upgrade to Magma Rager, although given the poorness of the original card the upgraded version is still less than outstanding. As of the core set being introduced, this no longer applies.
