Notes
- Cho'gall's effect functions as follows:[1]
- If Cho'gall is in either player's deck, it has a 50% chance to activate one of the anomalies at the start of the game.
- If Cho'gall is in both decks, it has a 100% chance to activate one of the anomalies.
- In normal situations, having Cho'gall in both decks (or multiple copies of Cho'gall in the same deck) can never activate two anomalies at once. It only guarantees that a single anomaly will be activated 100% of the time.

Lore
The title "Twilight Chieftain" is original to Hearthstone, though fitting for Cho'gall as he was the leader of the Twilight's Hammer.
For general lore, see Cho'gall.
Trivia
- In November 2023, a different version of Cho'gall, Twilight Chieftain was accidentally uploaded to the PlayHearthstone Card Library, perhaps depicting an early version that was tested during development. This version of Cho'gall, Twilight Chieftain didn't have Taunt or Lifesteal, only had a 20% chance to corrupt the game, and was slightly differently worded.
