Template:The Voraxx strategy

This card has a similar effect to  Violet Teacher, with two important differences. Where Violet Teacher summons a  Violet Apprentice for every spell you cast, the Voraxx only summons a Plant for spells you cast on the Voraxx itself, which makes this card especially useful in combination with buff spells. This is compensated for by that buff spell then being copied onto the Plant. Note, however, that The Voraxx triggers after the spell's effect while Violet Teacher's ability triggers before.

Example: After casting  Blessing of Kings on the Voraxx, both the Plant and the Voraxx will gain 4 attack and 4 health. Casting the same spell on a Violet Teacher would buff only the Teacher and not the Apprentice.

As with  Wild Pyromancer in combination with area of effect spells, players must be careful not to kill The Voraxx with their spell and prevent it from triggering. This is less common with The Voraxx, since only a few spells such as  Tidal Surge have secondary benefits that could make it desirable to target The Voraxx with a harmful spell in the first place.

The Voraxx will summon minions when playing  Silvermoon Portal on his Plants. The same happens with  Gift of Luminance.

The Voraxx is a strong card for field control and becomes a huge threat if combined with  Djinni of Zephyrs. When this happens, just one simple  Adaptation can greatly turn the tides, since it will be applied to almost every card on your field.

Voraxx will multiply your  Libram of Wisdom. Its Plants will cary the buff, making it possible to re-apply it to Voraxx and infinitely buffing it.
