Template:Scarlet Webweaver strategy

When played in the optimal circumstances (i.e. when you have at least one Beast in your hand that costs 5 or more Mana and no Beasts that cost less than 5 Mana), Scarlet Webweaver can provide amazing value. While it is underpowered for its cost, the 5-Mana reduction on a future Beast more than makes up for the minor loss in tempo. In the long run, Scarlet Webweaver is essentially a 1 Mana 5/5 Beast, an extreme level of value should you manage to keep control of the game long enough to exploit it.

Hunting Party or  Ramkahen Wildtamer can copy the cost-reduced beast, which can be used to set up combos. Examples of these combos include creating copies of 0-mana King Krushes or using  Tundra Rhino and multiple Dread Ravens, or  Gahz'rilla with attack multiplied with  Rapid Fire.
