Monstrous Parrot is mainly used in a Deathrattle Hunter decks to trigger crucial Deathrattles. It can be used to heal from 
Death's Head Cultist , 
Khartut Defender, or 
Mo'arg Forgefiend or dealing damage with 
Darkmoon Tonk, 
Augmented Porcupine, 
Leper Gnome, or Kobold Sandtrooper or removal with 
Spider Bomb and Sylvanas Windrunner.
It can also work with Burning Blade Acolyte for another 5/8 Taunt.
Although it is hard to control what is the last Deathrattle triggered, it can be controlled by removing it yourself or destroying it yourself with Flark's Boom-Zooka or Maxima Blastenheimer
