Template:Knuckles notes

From Hearthstone Wiki

  • Like all attack triggers, Knuckles' triggered effect only triggers if it attacks, not if it is the defender in an attack or if it deals damage by any other means (such as  Betrayal).
  • Knuckles deals damage to the opponent after combat damage is dealt and resolved, but before any resulting deaths are processed.
    • For example, if Knuckles attacks an  Axe Flinger which kills the friendly player with its triggered effect, its own trigger will still activate after combat. If the resulting damage reduces the enemy to 0 or less Health, then the game will end in a draw.
    • For example, if Knuckles takes lethal combat damage while attacking an enemy minion, it will still trigger and hit the enemy hero before dying.
  • Knuckles' extra after-combat damage is simply direct damage to the enemy, and does not itself count as an attack. Thus it will not trigger any effect based on attacking the enemy hero, such as  Vaporize or  Misdirection.
  • Giving the poisonous ability to Knuckles does not make him poisonous to heroes.
