Echo of Medivh provides great, if slow value for control mage decks. Comparable to 
Zola the Gorgon, it synergises greatly with Battlecry minions such as 
Reno Jackson or 
Kalecgos, however it is also usable with large minions that have a reducible cost like 
Molten Giant and 
Arcane Giant.
