- Spotlight removes a friendly character's Divine Shield to summon a 5/5 Elemental.[1]
- Spotlight does not remove any friendly minions from the battlefield, it only removes the Divine Shield.[1]
- When combined with
Starlight Groove, the player's hero loses Divine Shield, summoning the Elemental and simultaneously triggering Starlight Groove's effect, which immediately grants the hero Divine Shield again.[1]
- "Converting" a friendly character's Divine Shield counts as losing it, for cards like Jitterbug.[2]
