Template:Venomstrike Trap strategy

This card is best played when your opponent has one or two large minions, to better ensure that you get to use the snake on a larger target.

This card works well since it's countered by playing into Freezing Trap, an action few players do.

However, this card gives your opponent an opportunity to react to it, requiring an investment of only 3 damage to neutralize. Hunter has other Secrets that are harder to play around, such as Freezing Trap or Wandering Monster, that guarantee value more consistently than Venomstrike Trap.
