For 1 more mana than Acidic Swamp Ooze, Rustrot Viper offers the same effect with +2 health and the Tradeable ability. These make the Viper significantly more flexible, as it can be traded away for a new card or summoned as a more substantial body in situations where it's Battlecry is not useful. It also has the Beast tag, though Beast decks are often too aggressive to be concerned of an enemy's weapon.
