Ringmaster Whatley is a solid main staple for Menagerie Warrior decks, for the card draw his Battlecry provides. For that reason, one must include Mech
, Dragon and Pirate minions. This synergises very well with his baton when played on the same turn, ensuring buffs on said drawn minions. And again, beware of minions with effects that summon them directly to the battlefield, therefore wasting Whatley's potential (eg. 
Deathlord, 
Dirty Rat, 
Hecklebot, etc.).
