If played on turn 1, this will awaken as a free  Microtech Controller on turn 3 that also has Murloc synergies. However, its awakening is very easy to predict, letting the opponent prepare to deal with the three minions. It's also a horrible topdeck, since its body is less than impressive and the dormant waiting period is cripplingly slow for Murloc decks.

Imprisoned Sungill can be followed by a  Coldlight Seer the same turn it awakens, making the minions much harder to remove.
