Template:Book of Specters strategy
Book of Specters is a powerful card draw tool. The card is strongest when run in a deck with mostly minions, allowing you to draw three cards far more consistently. However, it can be okay to run in a slightly more spell-focused deck, so long as it isn't a combo deck. Even discarding one spell is acceptable, since drawing two for two mana is incredible. This is especially the case for an Elemental deck because the main win condition is 
Frost Lich Jaina, so drawing three cards deeper into your deck is a benefit even if some are discarded.
This card has obvious synergy with 
Archmage Arugal, adding up to six minions to your hand for only four mana.
Book of Specters can safely draw 
Aluneth, 
The Amazing Reno and Frost Lich Jaina, since it only discards spells.
