spell you cast on friendly character[edit source]

Does anyone know if this only works on targeted spells where you select a specific character?

Since it doesn't specify "minion" it presumably still works even if you used  Libram of Justice to heal yourself, but since Paladins have a bunch of group-buffing spells which don't target a single minion that probably is worth clarifying here.

Avenge for example even though it buffs a minion, doesn't do that directly via the casting but instead when it's triggered, so I'm guessing you don't get a copy of that.

Pursuit of Justice even though it buffs your Silver Hand, is just a spell you cast without a target which influences later summons, so I don't think it'd be added either.

Equality affects all your minions in addition to the enemy's but since it doesn't target a particular one I don't know if it would work?

Invigorating Serman similarly does affect characters in play (minions in battlefield) but I don't know if Liadrin would give you a copy since it's non-targeted.

Rally similarly is untargeted and I don't know if casting a spell on a dead minion counts or not...

An interesting question is also raised by  High Abbess Alura : if you target her spellburst and a spell is cast on her, is that copy given as if the player chose to play that spell, or is it some weirdness like it counts as Alura casting it so Liadrin doesn't give a copy? It is after all "spell you cast" not "spell that was cast" and maybe there are more than 2 possible sources of a spell? Tycio (talk) 23:56, 26 April 2021 (UTC)

  • It only works on spells you, the player, specifically target at your minions. None of those spells you mentioned come back with Liadrin. User:Malcior 9:10 PM, 26 April 2021.
