Missions in Battlegrounds are weekly quests that include specific actions or objectives that the player can perform or achieve in order to receive rewards. In battlegrounds, rewards are given in BattlegroundsXp.pngXP, and serve as the primary mean of acquiring rewards on the Battlegrounds Track.

Missions can be viewed in the Battlegrounds menu, behind the "Season Rewards" tab.

Functionality[edit | edit source]

Observing the Missions in the Mission log

Battlegrounds missions can be only completed in Battlegrounds.

Players can only have 3 missions active at any time. Completing a mission will remove it from the list in the Mission log, making room for another. If a player has three missions and doesn't complete any of them (i.e. the mission log is completely filled), they will not receive new missions for the next week.

Gainging new missions[edit | edit source]

Getting new missions

Missions are awarded at 00:00, determined by region. This is often referred to as the "quest reset" or "reset time". The Americas region is set to PST; the Europe region set to CET; and the Asia region set to Hongkong/Taiwan time.[1] Player reports suggest that the reset time changes to match daylight saving time during the summer months.[2] There will be a countdown timer for the next quest to appear, which occupies the most-right empty slot.

Once the reset time has passed, players with less than 3 missions become eligible to be awarded up to 3 new missions at the same time (depending on their amount of free slots), regardless of when players are in game or not.

Progress cannot be made on such missions until they have been added to the quest log and revealed to the player. Therefore, players awaiting a new mission while in game menus are advised to log out and back in again after the reset time, in order to activate it before resuming play.

Re-roll
  • Players can choose to re-roll up to 1 mission each day by clicking the Quest Revamp - Reroll.png in the corner of its plaque in the Mission Log, immediately receiving a different, random mission in its place.
    • If no Quest Revamp - Reroll.png is present in the Mission Log, re-rolls are not possible again until the next day.
  • Any mission may be selected for re-rolling.
  • All progress on a mission is erased when it is re-rolled; the next time the same mission is randomly assigned to the player, it will start with no progress.
Limits
  • While players may be assigned the same mission more than once over the course of their Hearthstone play, they will never be assigned a duplicate of a mission they are already on.
Banking
  • Missions can be banked for each Battlegrounds season. If a player misses a week, they can come back and complete that mission later.[3]
