Template:Palm Reading strategy
Palm Reading can be used as both a value play and searcher. Control Priest can get the most use out of this card, since they tend to have a large number of reactive spells in the hand. Palm Reading also has synergy with 
Insight and Auspicious Spirits, making them easier to Corrupt.
This card competes with 
Venomous Scorpid as a 3-mana Discover card. Venomous Scorpid prefers a faster meta where the immediate body will have more of an impact than the mana discounts.
In Wild mode, Palm Reading enables a solid turn 3 cost reduction for Vargoth to take advantage of on turn 5 to cheat out 2 Shadow Essence into 2 G'huun. This will close the match, unless opponent has some sort of removals, transforms, or your wifi connection is disconnected.
