Illidari Studies pulls from a relatively small pool of good cards, making it pretty consistent at generating extra value. The generated card will be placed in the rightmost spot, letting you guarantee the Outcast if it's played on the same turn. The card can also be saved for the mana discount, letting you play more expensive cards like Skull of Gul'dan sooner.

In a Control Demon Hunter deck, Star Student Stelina is a great pull, instantly letting you view and disrupt the opponent.
