With vanilla 2 cost stats, Dragon Breeder is a perfectly okay card to play on curve, even without its Battlecry. However, it may be better to save it up as its Battlecry offers a lot of potential value. Although it can be used with any dragon, it is especially devastating with cards like Scion of Ruin where one extra copy can have a large impact.
