Given the mana cost and stats of this minion, playing this card with only one Demon on the board already provides good value. If you manage to play this while multiple Demons are in play, you can gain a huge advantage.

However, if you fall behind on the board and your opponent constantly clears all your minions, the Crystalweaver can become a dead card in your hand, until you have no other choice but to play it as a straight (and underwhelming) 4 mana 5/4.
