Soul Devourer lets you replace a demon with another that has +3/+3 stats for essentially free, whilst also triggering any Wrath Weavers in play. The stats and returned gold is not boosted by Brann Bronzebeard, but is doubled by the golden version. As the golden version retains the stat boosts gained from any Soul Devourers already played, it provides a way to combine many powerful minions together, and can gain massive amounts of health from consuming an Annihilan Battlemaster.
