This minion can be very strong in the early to mid-game. The stat-boosts can provide just enough damage to kill an enemy and the health can save your normally fragile pirate minions from dying too early. You will typically want to replace Ripsnarl Captain with Dread Admiral Eliza in the late-game, but a golden version of this minion can still pull its weight. With its health sufficently buffed by cards like Southsea Strongarm, it can even prove to be invaluable in an all-pirate war band.
