Template:Battlegrounds/George the Fallen strategy

George's Hero Power is costly and geared towards endgame builds. While very expensive, giving a minion the ability to survive an extra hit is incredibly valuable in the late game. Huge attackers like a Cave Hydra, big Taunt minions, and support minions like Baron Rivendare will all benefit considerably from them. George suffers from a weak early game, so focus on ramping early so that you can survive to make use of his Hero Power later. Buying any minions with Divine Shield (e.g. Bronze Warden is fine as long as it is beneficial to the warband.

The earlier you use his hero power on a minion, the more long-term benefit (or disadvantage) it will give. If you manage to buy or build a very powerful minion in early-game (despite other minions may be inferior), adding Divine Shield to it can considerably increase the survival chance.

In early game, it may be beneficial to buy some token minions so you may sell them for 2 coins, to use hero power on a later more powerful minions. The same rule applies to later game.
