Template:Battlegrounds/Freedealing Gambler strategy

Freedealing Gambler is a very versatile filler minion. Because it sells for 3 Gold, the minion is essentially free. If you don't find a minion that fits your build well but can't afford to be behind on minions in the early game, a Freedealing Gambler is a much less risky pick since you can sell it back for better minions without damaging your Gold economy. You can buy a Freedealing Gambler and immediately sell it just to activate Southsea Strongarm and Cap'n Hoggarr's effects and buying-based Hero Powers, such as the ones for Patches the Pirate and Edwin VanCleef.

With heroes who can acquire minions for less than 3 Gold, such as Maiev Shadowsong and Millhouse Manastorm, Freedealing Gambler generates a profit whenever bought and sold.

Note that tripling in a Freedealing Gambler result in a net loss of 3 Gold. Therefore, the only reason to intentionally triple a Freedealing Gambler is if you want a Triple Reward.
