Event version of these 23 Wild cards[edit source]
There are two seperate versions of the returning Wild cards: One from their original set, and one from Wild Event set. I'm going to create Sylvanas Windrunner (Doom in the Tomb) page with this context below:
#REDIRECT Sylvanas Windrunner Sylvanas Windrunner is a legendary neutral minion card, from the Wild Event set. For more information, see Sylvanas Windrunner. ==How to get== One non-golden copy of Sylvanas Windrunner is automatically included in all players' collections as part of the Doom in the Tomb event. It is automatically removed after Patch ?. Both non-golden and golden Sylvanas Windrunner are uncraftable and cannot be crafted or disenchanted. ==Patch changes== * Added.
Afterwards, I change category of the original page from Standard format cards into Wild format cards, then add this in section Patch changes like this:
* A Wild Event set version is added for Standard format.
I feel I should discuss with admins and you guys first, because these are related to important pages. Should I publish these and continue with other 22 cards? Use25 (talk) 14:15, 11 October 2019 (UTC)
- No one replied? Use25 (talk) 14:17, 15 October 2019 (UTC)
- Your message was probably overridden in Recent Changes with all the stuff going on in the upload log. I don't think changing the categories would be that important to discuss about with the adins first though. Cactusisawesome (talk) 00:55, 16 October 2019 (UTC)
- I am unsure whether pages such as "Sylvanas Windrunner (Doom in the Tomb)" are necessary. I think documenting these event cards in the "Patch changes" section and the "How to get" section is enough to tell readers that these event cards had existed once upon a time. Also, I don't know how having a redirect page having an infobox with "|datapage=Sylvanas Windrunner(92976)" will work, it may or may not break things since two pages shouldn't refer to the same datapage. I've never seen a redirect page with content before, so I'm not sure.. Aegonostic (talk) 02:27, 16 October 2019 (UTC)
- The reason I want separate pages is what TheMurlocAggroB said. And I just tested with
Fire Mage Jaina, it did not work sadly. I have no choice but to remove the redirect.Use25 (talk) 15:59, 18 October 2019 (UTC)

- If the data page exists, I think splitting the page is a good idea. It is a separate card, after all. I set them up the way I did because I'm lazy. HOWEVER, it should be named Sylvanas Windrunner (Event), just for future-proofing. Blizzard will probably reuse the same Event set if they bring cards back again.TheMurlocAggroB (talk) 05:45, 16 October 2019 (UTC)
- Thanks, I guess I can follow your solution and see if admins accept with these ideas.Use25 (talk) 15:59, 18 October 2019 (UTC)
