Explaining such reference using just text is doable, but would it be OK to add a link to the videos from the official Monty Python YT channel? If so, I'm going to link to a specific point in the video, so users can watch 20 seconds instead of 3 minutes and have an idea of what it's about, and they can watch the whole video clip if they want anyway.
