Art[edit source]

There is a Felhunter behind her. I'll add to the Demon art. But what is it attacking? An orc? An undead? Full art.--Adûnâi (talk) 01:42, 8 August 2015 (UTC)

Judging by the hands it looks like more undead to me. Can't be certain, though. -- Taohinton (talk) 15:45, 12 August 2015 (UTC)
This is the point where I think worrying about art tags is ridiculous :P - jerodast (talk) 03:09, 13 August 2015 (UTC)
I've stated several places that I don't think it's worth worrying about/tagging images for minor background appearances, but in practice where exactly you draw the line is a highly relative and variable matter :) -- Taohinton (talk) 14:41, 13 August 2015 (UTC)

Verification request[edit source]

Today I saw Kripp on Twitch, with Redeption + Cult Master in play. Cult Master was killed; Kripp expected to get a card but didn't.

The text in this article: "(...) if Cult Master is killed with a multi-target spell along with other minions, then brought back to life using Redemption, you still draw cards for each minion killed" specifically addresses multi-target spells, which didn't apply here. However, there does seem to be a contradiction. Why would there be a different result depending on HOW the Cult Master is killed?

The Cult Master summoned by redemption is a new minion, so the dying Cult Master does fit the filter of "one of your other minions".

I have added a request for verification. My expectation, after seeing Kripp, is that first the deaths are handled (with a Cult Master that is mortally wounded and hence does not draw cards for any of the other mortally wounded minions), then the secret triggers (summoning a new Cult Master, which will not draw cards because the deaths have already been handled). But I might be wrong, of course, hence the request for verification and not a change of the statement. (Yet).

I think it handles each simultaneous death at a time in order of play of the dying minion, then handles each trigger from that death in order of play of the the triggering effect. So if Cult Master's death is processed first it gets to resurrect and start triggering on the deaths of its companions. But if it was played after the other dying minions, it's mortally wounded for the time they're dying so it doesn't get to trigger. And it certainly doesn't get to trigger off itself since, as you say, by the time it's alive again to trigger, its death has already been handled.
But this is all based on vague recollections of the death phase ordering, for which I haven't seen examples for in years :) - jerodast (talk) 22:03, 10 May 2017 (UTC)
