What if you reach 20, then backslide?[edit source]

Do you earn the card back just by reaching level 20 in a season, or do you have to finish the season at level 20 (or better)?

Suppose I reach level 20 on April 29, then on April 30 I lose a match and drop to level 21, and end the season there. Does anyone know if I'd earn the card back? 76.244.38.200 06:07, 25 April 2014 (UTC)

The whole idea is to reward 'participation' rather than achievement, so I would think just hitting it once would be enough. It's a fair question though. Also, I've not actually tried to see whether it's possible to drop from 20 to 21. -- Taohinton (talk) 22:51, 25 April 2014 (UTC)
This and the linked article states repeatedly that you only have to "hit" 20 to receive the card back. -- Taohinton (talk) 00:37, 26 April 2014 (UTC)
Just for the record, as I've now stated on Play mode, it's actually impossible to lose Rank 20 once you've reached it. -- Taohinton (talk) 16:30, 2 May 2014 (UTC)

Tyande obtainable?[edit source]

Please, some one, remove Tyrande from the obtainable list on this page. While it is true that players who met the prerequisites have untill the 28th to redeem her, you can no longer gain the code to redeem her by linking your amazon prime with twitch prime and world of warcraft. Infact her page's description on how to obtain her is entirely incorrect. I just spent about three hours trying to figure it out, setting it up, being confused as to why i did not have her, only for my jerk of a friend (who'd literally listened to me set the thing up) to tell me that she is no longer obtainable. I've updated the article to reflect that Tyrande is available in SEA regions only, as a special offer, until the 28th of February. But don't worry, she will be available again in the future, according to Yong Woo on: https://www.invenglobal.com/ . Thanks for your input! Aegonostic (talk) 20:19, 26 February 2017 (UTC)

Table formats[edit source]

Right now it looks like a bit of a pain to shuffle card backs around; it causes other backs in the table to have to be slid between rows, etc. Also, there are some reward types mixed in with each other, for instance seasonal card backs mixed in with a lot fewer limited-time offer backs. We could reduce the churn and improve organization by categorizing a bit more; here are the ones that make sense to me...

These first ones are constantly changing and also very few in number. They could be shown first without the expandable sections.

  • Obtainable for a limited time (aka ranked season and promotional backs)
  • Not yet obtainable

The next three are other subcategories of "Obtainable"; they could be in a single expandable section.

  • Indefinitely obtainable
  • Periodically obtainable at specific events (edited to add this one)
  • Only obtainable with a product that is no longer available (aka Wild adventures)

The last two are subcategories of "Not obtainable"; they could be in a single expandable section.

  • Past season rewards (no longer obtainable)
  • Other no longer obtainable

Feel free to tweak the divisions but I think this would be slightly easier to navigate. Especially, it means we don't need to bump limited time offers to the top of a giant table. I invite your thoughts! - jerodast (talk) 18:30, 10 April 2017 (UTC)

Yes! It seriously is a pain to shuffle card backs back and forth through the ever-increasing number of galleries! I would think that the same thing can be accomplished with just one single gigantic gallery where they auto-sort themselves into their rows. I also like the addition of more categories. More thoughts please! Aegonostic (talk) 18:47, 10 April 2017 (UTC)
The advantage of subdividing is we can write an explanation for each one, even if it's just a line or two. I'm also not sure about the data management for card backs, AFAIK they aren't entities that can be queried & sorted in the same way that cards and enchantments can, although conceivably we could set it up. - jerodast (talk) 21:08, 10 April 2017 (UTC)

Ten card backs missing[edit source]

Currently, there are eight card backs missing (both the image and the description in italics): Frostfire, Candle King, Blood Knight, Frost Knight, Unholy Knight, Gone Fishin, For the Hoard! and Catacomber. Should they be added? Will they ever be?--Adûnâi (talk) 22:44, 7 January 2018 (UTC)

Edit: There are 10 card backs missing, including "Call of the Light" and "Call of the Void" from the twitch promotional event -- Waffleman0275 (talk) 19:08, 20 April 2018 (UTC)

Jewel of Lazul no longer obtainable[edit source]

This needs to be moved around on the page, but shuffling all the rows around is more than I can bear.
