Revamp artist articles

Just as Hearthstone Wiki:Project 1 is half completed and all of most important cards are revamped, it's time to start revamping other articles that contain card queries (or card lists).

The first batch of card query articles I want to revamp first is Category:Artists. With this revamp, we will:

• Add Mercenaries cards
• Add buttons that redirect to a separated query page, so that users can browse through all the cards (Wiki article sadly has a limited size to display, so we can't display like 1000 cards at once there)
• Convert external links into data, for the table in main article Artists.

What to do

Each artist article will have this format as core:

You can either check User:Use25/Sandbox5 or Category:Artists to see all the artist articles to revamp.

• id: Our custom id, must be unique. Check out: Special:CargoTables/CustomArtist to see all the ids that have been used to avoid them.
• mainName: Name of the artist that the artist mainly uses (or Blizzard). This name will appear on Artists table.
• otherNames: List of other alternative names of the artist, separated by {{!}}. This is useful for studios, which have multiple different artists. This attribute will also be used for querying.
• link: The artist's official website URL.
• artstation: The artist's official ArtStation URL.
  • We also have these similar attributes: behance, blogspot, deviantart, facebook, instagram, linkedin, patreon, pinterest, tumblr, twitch, twitter, vk, youtube.

This is a template that will list all cards that have the artist's art, along with a button that redirects the reader to the query page to see more cards in the lists.

Others

Depending on the circumstances, you can add extra info on the artist article, like Mooncolony.

• As of March 13, 2022, all artists that start with A have been revamped.
