Bloodbound Imp's great stats for 2 mana are offset by its hero-damaging effect, meaning that it's best used in Zoo variants of The Demon Seed Warlocks. On the upside, 2 Attack and 5 Health should allow Bloodbound Imp to trade with weaker minions, letting it contribute to the Questline completion while controlling the enemy board. Man'ari Mosher can help mitigate the self-damage caused by this minion, which also helps to reduce the cost of Flesh Giant by adding the Lifesteal effect on top of the Imp's 2 damage to yourself.
