Tess can easily get powerful or exclusive minions in your opponent's warband, like the Amalgam, so keep that in mind if The Curator, or even Rafaam (if The Curator is in the game too) is among your opponents.

While most players can benefit from selecting minion types not used by other players, Tess's hero power is most effective if the player collects a minion type used by as many other players as possible. Opponent's warband minion types can be viewed from the side menu, so keep a watchful eye on what they are selecting. A single use of Bob's Burgles can give you access to a strong, cohesive warband, and also overrides the limits placed on each minion available in the tavern pool.
