Michael Schweitzer is a former senior client engineer on the Team 5 Hearthstone development team.[1] He is featured in the credits card of the same name.
He left Blizzard in mid-2018 and is currently the Principal Engineer at Second Dinner.[2][3]

- Schweitzer is credited by Ben Brode as being responsible for coding Yogg-Saron's effect.[4]
- Schweitzer is paid tribute to in World of Warcraft as an undead NPC of the same name, who serves as manager to the The Tauren Chieftains. The Chieftains are themselves a tribute to the real-life Blizzard employee band Elite Tauren Chieftain, after which
Elite Tauren Chieftain is named.
