- Boss starts with 1 Mana Crystal instead of 0.
- At Start of Game Shalja, Outcast, Sklibb, Outcast and Karnuk, Outcast are shuffled into the player's deck.
- Boss will always cast Endless Legion on his fourth and fifth turn.
- At the start of player's turn 6, Baduu, Outcast spawns on the player's board and casts Vanish that doesn't affect her.
Strategy[edit | edit source]
In Aranna's continued search for survival, Kanrethad Prime blocks the path as the first boss of Chapter 2. As noted above, he will always play Endless Legion on his fourth and fifth turns, putting heavy pressure in the mid-game. As you're provided with a fully Secret-based deck, do play conservatively in the early game. For this reason, try for Secret synergy cards like Secretkeeper, Lesser Emerald Spellstone and Eaglehorn Bow in your mulligan.
Starting your Turn 6, Baduu, Outcast will be summoned to your board and returns all other minions to their owner's hands. Ideally, you would want Hyena Alpha and a fully upgraded Greater Emerald Spellstone at this stage to turn the tide. Quickly rush Kanrethad Prime down, and try to stall him with Blackjack Stunner and Secrets like Freezing Trap, before he can rebuild and overwhelm you with resurrected Demons from his Hero Power.
If in doubt, use Shadowstep on Baduu, Outcast- cards returned to the hand are always placed rightmost, enabling Baduu's Outcast effects.

This section uses content from the Warcraft Wiki.- Kanrethad Ebonlocke is a powerful human warlock and former leader of the Council of the Black Harvest, a group of like-minded warlocks gathered after the defeat of Deathwing.
- Kanrethad was present, ostensibly as a member of the Alliance, in the battle where Illidan Stormrage was killed during the siege of the Black Temple. Following the battle he shared the secrets of Illidan's transformation with the Council. After Deathwing's downfall, he gathered great warlocks together to form the Council of the Black Harvest and they decided to go after the powers left behind by Ragnaros and
Cho'gall, and return in a year's time. He partnered himself with the undead warlock Jubeka Shadowbreaker and together they went to accomplish their mission on Outland.
Kanrethad's Prime version depicts him as a Demonology Warlock in the original version of metamorphosis, before it became a Demon Hunter ability.
