Imbue
Get a new Hero Power that upgrades each time you Imbue.

Imbue is a mechanic introduced in Into the Emerald Dream. Cards that Imbue replace the player's hero power with a new one if it isn't already an Imbue-granted hero power, and subsequent triggers of Imbue upgrade that hero power.

Notes

• Only Druids, Hunters, Mages, Paladins, Priests, and Shamans have special Imbue hero powers. If another class plays an Imbue card, it will have no effect.
• The first time a player plays an Imbue card, it will replace their hero power with a special one specific to that class.
• When an Imbue card is played while the player already has the special hero power, it will instead increment all numbers on that hero power except the cost by 1. These numbers are marked in bold on the hero power.
• The first Imbue will always replace the player's hero power, even if they already replaced it with e.g. a hero card.
• If the player replaces their Imbue hero power with another hero power, and they Imbue again, they will continue from whatever numbers their Imbue hero power had.
  • Example: Imbue as a Shaman to get Blessing of the Wind, then play Jim Raynor, replacing the hero power, then Imbue again. The hero power will have the number at 2, not start over at 1.
