Lore[edit | edit source]
This section uses content from the Warcraft Wiki.
- Golakka Hot Springs is a region in western Un'goro Crater, just north of Terror Run. The area features geysers and pools heated by the nearby volcano. Spark Nilminer can be found at the top of a large geyser, while Maximillian of Northshire can be found at the base of the same one.
- Steaming Fury elementals patrol the shores of the pools.
Trivia[edit | edit source]
- The original design for Golakka Crawler was just a larger and more powerful version of Hungry Crab in the sense that it destroyed a Murloc and gained +4/+4.[3]
- This card was hinted to exist more than two weeks before its official reveal when Mike Donais responded to a reddit thread asking for a "Hungry Crab for pirates", and more specifically a comment predicting a "Hungrier Crab", ("2 mana 2/3, Battlecry: Destroy an enemy pirate. If you destroy a pirate, gain +2/+2") by posting "I could see it happening one day."[4]
- Golakka Crawler's flavor text is a reference to the comedic Pirates versus Ninjas meme, which features a theoretical conflict between pirates and ninjas and is centered around a debate over which side would win in a fight.
