- The trigger sounds are unused in-game. They may be remnants of when Runi used to do something else with the locations during development rather than adding them to the player's hand.

Lore
Runi is original to Hearthstone. She is the daughter of Xyrella.
- When the Exodar crashed on Azeroth, Xyrella's husband did not survive the disaster, and their only daughter, Runi, fell into a coma that no healing magic could break.
- As Xyrella prayed over her daughter, a glowing object exploded in the sky. Shards of fractured light rained across Azeroth. The draenei called this incident The Night of Falling Stars. Xyrella watched the lights fall like glowing embers. She had a vision. The falling stars were pieces of a fractured naaru – an enigmatic energy being deeply connected to the Light. The naaru spoke to her. “I am Mi'da, Pure Light. Gather my pieces. Reform me. Only I have the power to save your daughter’s life.”
In Xyrella's chapter in the Book of Mercenaries, Mi'da transforms into Mi'da, Pure Void. After a hard-fought battle, Mi'da is purified back into Pure Light. But when about to be destroyed, Mi'da with the last flicker of its being reforges Runi in Light.
- Runi
- Mother... It's me. Where am I?
- Xyrella
- I see you, my child. You are here. You are awake. At last. It is over.
- Dawngrasp (present)
- My racing heart slowed as mother and daughter embraced. The naaru was gone, but the draenei, at last, were together once again.
- I returned to Silvermoon and accepted the rank of Magister. The others had their own rewards, their own adventures, that carried them to the edges of our world and home to their hearths.
- We ten mercenaries would never all be together again, yet the falling stars forever connected us in a constellation of heroes. And though our book was closed, another was about to open.
This version of Runi represents her as an adult, becoming a hero of time along the way.
The locations generated by Runi represent different locations in World of Warcraft. For their lore, see their respective pages.
